This position will process applications for new business. Duties include reviewing life insurance applications to ensure completion, policy changes, changing policy records to reflect changes, canceling insurance policies as requested by customers or agents, and consistent communication with customers and agents to verify the accuracy of application and policies. 


What You'll Do:

  • Receives applications for new business
  • Reviews applications for accuracy
  • Enters applications into administrative systems
  • Works with underwriting department and agents to resolve questions/issues
  • Conducts phone inspections with applicants
  • Communicates and works with agents on pending applications
  • Issues and mails policies
  • Cancels declined and expired applications and returns premium 
  • Processes journal entries for plan changes and premium refunds

Requirements
