Cemetery Operations Supervisor

Location: McDonough, GA 30252

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cemetery Operations Supervisor to oversee daily cemetery operations in McDonough, GA. The ideal candidate will have strong supervisory skills, hands-on experience with cemetery management, and the ability to coordinate and execute burial services efficiently and respectfully.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead cemetery staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Operate and oversee the use of heavy equipment, including backhoes, for grave digging and site preparation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and prepare for burial services in collaboration with families, funeral homes, and vendors.
  • Maintain vendor relationships to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
  • Oversee landscape maintenance to preserve the appearance and safety of the cemetery grounds.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to cemetery operations.
  • Manage inventory and supplies related to cemetery operations and maintenance.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide excellent customer service to families and visitors.
Qualifications
