Job description

Role: Automotive 5G Cellular Modem Diagnostics

Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Warren MI

Term: Contract


JD:- Automotive 5G Cellular Modem Diagnostics


  • Implement algorithms for uplink and downlink outage detection in vehicle’s cellular communication module.
  • Implement an uplink outage detection algorithm which is capable of running in vehicle’s cellular communication module natively and trigger cellular module states reset to re-initiate cellular network attachment.
  • Design 5G link diagnostics mechanisms to achieve accurately and timely classify if the in-vehicle 5G link is experiencing issues and which components in the end-to-end 5G communication stack are causing these issues.
  • Design in vehicle WiFi device classification, management, and quality of service capabilities to improve in Vehicle WiFi use experience.
  • MS or PHD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience writing C, C++, and Python
  • Experience with 5G and Wifi communications and diagnostics
  • Experience with embedded system development
  • Years of Experience: 7.00 Years of Experience
