Position Overview

DSI is seeking an experienced Cellular Technician to join our field operations team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cellular infrastructure, including towers, antennas, and associated equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in telecom construction and is comfortable working at heights in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, upgrade, and maintain cellular equipment on towers and rooftops
  • Perform antenna, coax, and fiber installations
  • Troubleshoot and repair network and equipment issues
  • Interpret construction drawings, site plans, and schematics
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety standards and client specifications
  • Conduct site inspections and document completed work
  • Work collaboratively with crew members and project managers to meet deadlines


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in cellular/telecom field work
  • Experience climbing towers and working at heights
  • Knowledge of RF components, cabling, and installation practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to climb towers up to 300+ feet
  • Lift and carry up to 75 lbs
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Perform physically demanding tasks including bending, kneeling, and prolonged standing
