We're seeking a dependable Preventative Maintenance Technician who is willing to learn, willing to try, and takes pride in doing things the right way. This role is critical to maintaining quality standards through detailed inspections, preventative maintenance, and clear communication.ย 


Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks efficiently and consistentlyย 
  • Conduct thorough vacant unit walks with a strong attention to detailย 
  • Identify, document, and clearly communicate maintenance issues and safety concernsย 
  • Ensure units are clean, orderly, and meet company standards prior to occupancyย 
  • Inspect plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, doors, windows, and hardwareย 
  • Replace filters, test smoke detectors, and verify proper operation of all systemsย 
  • Work efficiently without cutting cornersย 
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areasย 
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding findings and prioritiesย

- All maintenance must be conducted within a safe environment and adhere to all OSHA standards. If an unsafe atmosphere is present you must notify your manager immediately. We will make every effort to improve that environment. If we cannot safely provide that service, we will contract those service to the proper professionals.




Requirements

  • Maintenance or inspection experience preferred, but willingness to learn and try is requiredย 
  • High attention to detail with a preventative mindsetย 
  • Strong cleanliness and organization standardsย 
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage time wellย 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skillsย 
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-consciousย 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportationย 
  • Providing your own tools and reliable transportation. (Ardent Property Management will provide all specialty tools. All hand tools are to be provided by the maintenance technician.)
  • Ability to be highly active, moving on your feet for 4 hours at a time, including walking multiple flights of stairs.
