Job description

Anticipated Start Date: August 2027

Summary of Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary teachingresponsibilities will be introductory level Cell Biology,upper-level Cell Biology, and an upper-level course in thecandidate's area of expertise. The research area may be in anyfield of cellular and molecular biology. The successful candidatewill conduct research and publish their work, pursue externalfunding, mentor undergraduate and graduate student research, andadvise students pursuing professional degrees in health-relatedfields.

Minimum Education Requirements:

Ph.D. in Biology, Cell and Molecular Biology, or closely relateddiscipline with postdoctoral research experience.

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:

Applicants must have relevantpostdoctoral research experience. Teaching experience at thepostdoctoral level is ideal, but experience as a graduate teachingassistant is acceptable. Candidates must be able to teach coursesrelated to Biological Sciences. Candidates must demonstrate strongresearch potential as evidenced by publications, grants, or otherscholarly activities.
