CEI Inspectors, or Construction Engineering and Inspection Inspectors, are professionals who oversee and ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of construction projects, particularly in civil and transportation engineering. They monitor work to verify it meets design specifications, codes, and contractual requirements. Their responsibilities include inspecting materials and workmanship, documenting progress, and coordinating with contractors, engineers, and government agencies. CEI Inspectors play a critical role in maintaining project standards, preventing issues, and ensuring that public infrastructure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

What type of inspectors make the most money?

Among inspection roles, specialized inspectors such as industrial, aerospace, or nuclear inspectors tend to earn the highest salaries due to their technical expertise and safety responsibilities. These positions often require advanced certifications, security clearances, and experience in complex environments, which contribute to higher compensation levels.
