Job description

Consultant Engineering, Inc. (CEI) is an Arizona owned and operated professional engineering firm headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona with additional offices in Tucson and Gilbert, Arizona. As one of the Southwest's largest construction management firms, we also provide professional right of way (appraisals, acquisition and relocation services) and land surveying services. CEI is hiring a Construction Inspector with experience in civil construction. 

Job Requirements

This position will require travel throughout Arizona for ADOT oversight/inspection of civil  roadway improvements. Inspector will provide daily onsite observations of construction according to plans and specs. 

Inspection experience in the following:

  • Construction oversight in roadway excavation, grading, paving, thermo striping, guardrails or structures like bridges, box culverts.
  • Utilities, drainage 
  • Document on daily diaries, maintaining all inspections, reports and quality of work.
  • Attend construction meetings with contractor.
  • Positions are based all over the Arizona area. CEI has additional inspector work in Phoenix and Tucson. 
  • ACI, ATTI, ATSSA certs are required per client.
