Job description

STV is seeking an experienced CEI Inspector to join our CEI Team in Central Florida (Lake Mary, FL area) and be part of a growing organization! Our ideal candidate should have been directly responsible for all inspection requirements related to the construction operations assigned.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Ability to: communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
  • Performing technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout
  • Making and checking engineering computations
  • Inspecting construction work
  • Conducting field tests
  • Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator and will consist of assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma

Qualifications / Certifications:
Qualifications/certifications for this position may be obtained within six (6) months from the date of hire
  • CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
  • CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
  • CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
  • CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
  • CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)
  • IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level I
  • FDOT Intermediate MOT
  • Nuclear Radiation Safety
  • Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors

Compensation Range:
$58,804.00 - $66,822.00
