Job description

Job Title: Inside Sales / Account Manager
Job Classification: Salaried + Overtime Eligible
Location: CED Greentech Virginia, 4273 Carolina Ave, Richmond, VA 23222


NOTE: The below job description is intended to describe the general contents of and requirements for this position. This position description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed within this position. Individuals in this position will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties assigned or requested. Preference will be given to candidates with project management experience, account management experience, and/or knowledge of the solar industry. CED Greentech Virginia is a business-to-business distributor of solar equipment working with local solar installers.


Responsibilities:
-Develop relationships with new and existing solar customers and provide information to maximize sales.
-Facilitate client growth in one of the biggest emerging markets for renewable energy
-Conduct market research, including supply chain availability, financing offers, and installation volume.
-Ensure daily job-site deliveries occur successfully from quote or order preparation to delivery.
-Coordinate with warehouse staff so daily order staging runs smoothly.
-Engage industry stakeholders at policy and educational events.
-Quote prices, prepare proposals and provide information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates.
-Educate customers on best financial and technical practices related to the solar PV industry.
-Participate in Purchasing, Warehouse and Back Office training.
-Participate in weekly cycle counts to aid inventory control.
-Travel to industry trade shows, locally or nationally, to engage with industry leaders.
-Opportunity to advance and relocate to any of the 80 and counting CED Greentech locations.
-Possess critical thinking and time management skills and a predilection for a high-paced workplace.
-Learn aspects of managing lines of credit for customers and direct pay service from financiers.
-Handle ebbs and flows of incoming customer requests, sales, and ordering.
-Generate Purchase Orders on material for customers.


Hours: Monday – Friday 630a to 330p, 7am to 4pm, or 8a-5p
Hourly: $55,000-80,000 annually based on experience, overtime-eligible, plus potential for significant yearly profit-sharing.
