Job description

IT Project Manager Level 2 - (Independent Contractor - Full-time - Phoenix, AZ)
You have an impressive track record for leading full cycle projects with success. In this role you will support one of our clients in the public/private sector, working under the structure of an internal PMO. You'll enjoy taking the lead to help our clients achieve their business goals. Project Managers or Program Managers who've led larger projects are ideal for this role. (Why Green Font Color?)
This role would be a year contract position with a potential option to renew and is based in metro Phoenix, AZ.
Your Responsibilities
Under the general supervision of either a portfolio manager or a program manager, you will oversee multiple projects or one larger project. As the project team leader you'll be responsible for assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing the schedule to ensure timely completion of the project. Expect regular communication with functional area managers and senior management regarding the status of specific projects.
