Fuel Hostler / Local CDL Driver (Class A)

Location: Fairbanks, Alaska
Company: Colville Transport
Reports To: Operations Manager

Now Hiring: Local Class A CDL Driver – Home Daily

Colville Transport is seeking a safety-focused, customer-oriented Fuel Hostler / Class A CDL Driver to make local bulk fuel deliveries throughout the greater Fairbanks area. This is an in-town driving position — you’ll be home daily while playing a critical role in safely delivering fuel products to our customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely transport bulk fuel products to and from customer tanks and refinery locations
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Assist with weekly inspections of facilities and equipment
  • Perform minor vehicle maintenance as needed
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to spilling incidents
  • Complete required documentation and deliver paperwork accurately
  • Support other operational tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating CDL-required vehicles
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Tanker and Hazardous Materials Endorsements Required
  • No intrastate-only, automatic transmission, or air brake restrictions
  • Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate
  • Meets all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) driver qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and fitness-for-duty exam
  • Eligible to work in the United States
