Company Overview

Northern Colorado Truck Driving Academy (NCTDA) and Wyoming Truck Driving Academy (WYTDA) are offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus for qualified CDL A Driver Trainers joining our team.

For over 26 years, NCTDA and WYTDA have been trusted leaders in professional CDL Training and Testing throughout Northern Colorado and Wyoming. We specialize in hands-on CDL instruction with small class sizes and strong instructor-to-student ratios, allowing our trainers to focus on quality training, safety, and student success. Our mission is to help individuals build stable, rewarding careers within the trucking industry while supporting the local workforce and transportation community.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking 2–3 experienced CDL A Driver Trainers to join our team. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Prior instructional experience is preferred but not required. We welcome experienced professional drivers who enjoy mentoring, coaching, and helping the next generation of drivers succeed.

Positions are available in both Cheyenne, Wyoming and Fort Collins, Colorado. Trainers must be willing to occasionally travel between both locations when operational support is needed.

This position is intended strictly for experienced professional drivers. Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) years of CDL Class A driving experience. Recent CDL graduates or entry-level drivers will not be considered.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of CDL Class A driving experience
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission CMV
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Ability to pass a CBI background check
  • Strong communication skills and an interest in mentoring new drivers
  • Professional attitude with a strong focus on safety and compliance
