All-State Career is seeking part-time CDL Instructors to teach Class A CDL courses during the day, evening and/or weekend shifts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· As a faculty member, fulfills all the functions and responsibilities of teaching the assigned course load as directed by the Education Manager.
· Demonstrates excellent teaching qualities and sets a positive example for other faculty regarding appropriate dress, class preparation, punctuality, student assessment and a student-centered approach to classroom instruction.
· Prepares students for success and meet the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Administration & FMCSA ELDT regulations.
· Monitors attendance and ensures daily attendance sign-in sheets are accurate and turned in at a timely manner to the Education Manager.
· Monitors range/road equipment and ensures student safety and immediately documents and reports safety concerns to the Education Manager.
· Adheres to and supports school policies and procedures as referenced in the employee handbook, faculty handbook and catalog.
· Keeps informed of industry changes through participation in industry events and regular involvement in professional organizations.
· Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
· Teaches classroom, range, and road courses as scheduled.
· Meets with/ advises students and inputs comments into Student Driving Records.
