Schedule
  • Monday-Friday

  • Some Saturday work (OT paid after 8 hours or any weekend work)

  • Start/end times vary based on routes and production

  • Flexibility required

  • Longer outofprovince routes may be required

 
Job Purpose

Provide exemplary customer service while adhering to corporate and federal transportation safety policies. Ensure safe, damagefree delivery of shipments and use best practices when individual decisionmaking is required.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure equipment is in safe operating condition

  • Secure contents via pretrip inspection

  • Carry accident kit and XRS system

  • Transport product safely and damagefree

  • Load/unload glass at job sites and/or shop

  • Operate crane or perform manual lifting

  • Provide exemplary customer service onsite

  • Report damaged shipments and ensure proper BOL notation

  • Forklift, Moffat forklift, and Hiab crane experience are assets (training available)

 
Qualifications
  • Class 1, Class 3, or Class 5 SQ (Airbrakes)

  • 5 demerits or fewer

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

  • ELD logbook, load securement, pre/post trip, and road test experience

  • Preferably 2+ years handson driving experience

  • Comfortable driving standard transmission

  • Positive, customerserviceoriented attitude

  • Proactive driving capabilities
