Your Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:
  • Safely deliver products to ensure that restaurants, retailers, and convenience stores remain stocked.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and submit DOT inspection reports.
  • Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys during off-hour deliveries.
  • Drive the tractor-trailer to designated locations, adhering to commercial driving regulations and demonstrating skill in vehicle maneuvering.
  • Maintain a driver log (manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
  • Unload the trailer and deliver products into customer premises.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications for CDL-A Teammates:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
  • Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Meet our organization's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English at a level necessary for effective job performance, including understanding work instructions and safety protocols.
