Common vehicles include dump trucks, delivery trucks, school buses, and certain types of utility vehicles. These drivers are responsible for safely transporting goods or passengers, following federal and state regulations, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring timely deliveries. To become a CDL Class B Driver Operator, individuals must pass written and skills tests and may need additional endorsements based on the type of vehicle or cargo. The role often requires good driving records, physical fitness, and customer service skills.

These skills and qualifications are crucial for maintaining safety, meeting regulatory standards, and providing reliable service in transportation and logistics operations.
