Construction CDL Class A Driver

Are you looking for a new challenge with a dynamic and growing company? Look no further! PSC Construction is seeking a Heavy Civil Construction CDL Class A Driver to join our team.

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable Licensed CDL Class A Driver to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be able to travel in various states and safely operate heavy construction trucks to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from construction sites while supporting daily job site operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CDL Class A vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations
  • Transport construction materials, equipment, and aggregates to job sites
  • Load and unload materials as needed (may include use of equipment)
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
  • Assist with general labor tasks on job sites when required
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, and job site personnel

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class A license (required)
  • Clean driving record & current valid driver’s license (required)
  • Current valid DOT medical card
  • Travel is required
  • Minimum of 3 or more years experience of CDL driving; lowboy, side dumpers, hauling construction materials (gravel, asphalt, equipment, etc. Endorsements (e.g., tanker, doubles/triples), Familiarity with routes and job sites
  • No criminal misdemeanors in the last 5 years or criminal felonies in the last 7 years
  • Knowledge of construction sites and safe hauling practices
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
  • Ability to lift up to [50–75] lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
