CDL A Local Delivery Driver – Home Daily – $90,000–$105,000

At RDP Foodservice, our drivers are the backbone of our business. This is not a dock-to-dock position - this is a hands-on, customer-facing foodservice delivery role where your effort directly impacts your earnings.

Job Highlights

  • $30/hour guaranteed training rate and minimum base, earn more based on performance.
  • Annual income potential: $90,000–$105,000
  • Average weekly earnings: $1,700–$2,000+
  • Performance-based bonuses for drivers who put safety first and show up consistently - up to $6,000 annually
  • Stable routes and established customers

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • Home every night
  • No weekends
  • Routes begin between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM
  • On-call rotation once per week

What You'll Do

  • Safely and efficiently operate a commercial CDL Vehicle.
  • Properly conduct Pre and Post Trip inspections.
  • Utilize RDP's ELD system on route to meet all DOT and RDP requirements.
  • Deliver foodservice products to customer locations using a two-wheel dolly.
  • Complete routes averaging 500 to 600 cases per day.
  • Service consists of approximately 6 to 12 customers per route.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while representing RDP Foodservice professionally.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and route records.
  • Utilize company technology and delivery systems as required.
  • Maintain proper temperature controls and food safety standards.
  • Pick up inbound freight and complete scheduled backhauls when assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with transportation management regarding route issues, delays, or customer concerns.
  • Maintain company equipment and vehicles in a clean, safe, and professional condition.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to meet DOT requirements (physical, medical card, drug & alcohol screening)
  • Ability to safely perform physical job requirements, including lifting
  • Background check required
