About the Role:
Magical Star Preschool in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a warm, nurturing Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our growing team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact on the youngest learners during their most critical developmental years. Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and daily progress
  • Maintain open, consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including diapering, feeding, and nap routines
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a positive classroom culture
  • Ensure compliance with Arizona childcare licensing regulations and center policies
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or ECE coursework preferred
  • Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for ages 0–3
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Must pass a background check in accordance with Arizona DHS requirements
  • Patient, compassionate, and reliable with strong communication skills
