What you'll do...
The Security Supervisor is responsible for managing staff and protecting premises, assets, and personnel. They maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions.
Day to day you'll ...
  • Manage and direct a security shift operation in support of the security services operation.
  • Provide direct supervision to represented officers ensuring accomplishment of requirements in the Contract Statement of Work and compliance documents.
  • Ensures compliance with orders, policies, and procedures, with emphasis on safe conduct of operations.
  • Controls post assignments, absences, and overtime commitments to fulfill mission requirements.
  • If provided, inspects equipment and weapons assigned to shift personnel and to individuals for proper maintenance and operability.
  • Coordinates personnel, equipment, and facility requirements, as required.

Administrative Duties
  • The supervisor is responsible for preparing and maintaining employees' schedules.
  • The supervisor is responsible for reviewing and entry into timekeeping software to capture employees' time and attendance.

Requirements
What you'll bring to the team...
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Work Experience
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 2 years supervisory position.
  • Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position.

Qualifications
  • Ability to operate and teach the use of X-rays and Magnetometers systems and emergency equipment.
  • Exceptional knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
  • Surveillance skills and detail orientation
  • Integrity and professionalism
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record

Training
  • AG Supervisor must have and/or receive and maintain initial and recurring training to include but not limited to the following:
  • Maryland HQL and CCW
  • OC Spray, Baton, and Handcuffing
  • CPR and First Aid
  • De-escalation and Dealing with Difficult Customers training
  • All training required by the Director of Human Resources
  • Any other training mandated by the company or required per the contract.
