Job Title: CCTV/Video Surveillance System (VSS) Administrator

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Note: This is an onsite position

Job Description:

The CCTV/Video Surveillance System (VSS) Administrator will provide administration, monitoring, maintenance, and operational support for the airport s enterprise video surveillance systems. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of CCTV/VSS platforms that support airport operations, public safety, security, and regulatory requirements.

The VSS Administrator will serve as the primary technical resource for CCTV, video management systems, and related integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support enterprise video surveillance platforms, including Milestone Systems VMS and legacy CCTV systems.
  • Monitor system health, storage capacity, recording services, and camera availability to ensure continuous operation.
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for CCTV/VSS incidents, camera outages, recording failures, and performance issues.
  • Manage camera configurations, recording profiles, retention policies, user access, and permissions.
  • Support integrations between the VSS platform, access control systems, alarm systems, and other security technologies.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, software upgrades, firmware updates, and configuration changes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues involving cameras, encoders, NVRs, servers, and storage systems.
  • Coordinate with security, operations, network, and systems teams to resolve VSS-related infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain system documentation, camera inventories, configuration records, and architecture diagrams.
  • Support investigations, audits, and evidence requests in coordination with airport security and law enforcement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
  • 5 to 7 years of experience supporting enterprise CCTV or video surveillance systems.
  • Hands-on experience administering VMS platforms such as Milestone.
  • Experience troubleshooting camera, server, storage, network, and application-level issues.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical or public safety systems in large facilities, airports, or campus environments.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
