At Lifespace Communities, sales leadership is more than hitting targets, it's about creating meaningful connections, building high-performing teams, and helping residents confidently choose their next chapter. We're looking for a strategic, results-driven Director Area Independent Living Sales to lead sales performance, occupancy growth, and Independent Living expansion across multiple communities.

If you are a proven multi-site sales leader with deep senior living expertise who thrives on coaching teams, driving revenue, analyzing markets, and creating strategies that deliver measurable growth, this is your opportunity to make a direct enterprise-wide impact.

What You'll Do

As the Director Area Independent Living Sales, you will serve as a key sales leader responsible for driving occupancy, revenue growth, and sales excellence across assigned Lifespace Communities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve or exceed occupancy and revenue targets for Independent Living (IL) communities

  • Partner with, mentor, and support Community Sales Directors to strengthen pipeline health, improve performance, and elevate sales execution

  • Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, pricing, and occupancy performance to identify growth opportunities

  • Drive lead generation, referral development, tours, and sales conversion strategies across multiple communities

  • Collaborate with Executive Directors, Sales Leaders, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align sales efforts with business goals

  • Evaluate and optimize pricing strategies to maximize market competitiveness and revenue outcomes

  • Lead regular sales reviews, performance discussions, and strategic planning sessions

  • Utilize CRM tools and reporting to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and implement action plans

What You Bring

  • 8-10+ years of senior sales leadership experience, ideally across multi-site or regional operations

  • Required: Direct experience in CCRC/Life Plan communities with strong knowledge and experience selling LifePlan models, Type A and Type B contract sales

  • Proven success driving occupancy, revenue, and sales performance across multiple communities or regional markets

  • Deep understanding of IL sales strategy, consultative selling, and long-cycle decision-making within senior living

  • Strong expertise in market analysis, pricing strategy, competitive positioning, forecasting, and sales pipeline management

  • Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing Community Sales Directors or similar sales leadership teams

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office tools

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred

This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise in CCRC/LifeCare sales, occupancy growth, and multi-community sales leadership will directly influence revenue performance and Independent Living success across Lifespace Communities.

If you are a high-performing senior living sales leader with deep Life Plan / Type A / Type B contract experience and know how to build momentum, coach teams, and drive results, we'd love to meet you.
