Job description

Title: Network Engineer

Client: NYC Agency    

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months  

Work Hours: 35 hrs/week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN, DMZ, and Wireless network infrastructure.
  • Configure and support Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and network security solutions.
  • Lead wireless network design and optimization, including Aruba architecture and network access control.
  • Provide Level 3 support for complex network and infrastructure issues.
  • Maintain network documentation and ensure security and performance best practices.

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

  • 10+ years of Network Engineering experience in enterprise or government environments.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco networking (Switches, Routers, Routing & Switching).
  • Hands-on experience with Aruba Wireless, Firewalls, VPNs, and Network Security.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, and Windows 11.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
  • Certification: CCNA, CCNP, CCIE (minimum one required).
  • Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
