Note:Also open to RN, LPN and CCA students


Schedule: PT, FT positions available

  • 12 hour shifts
  • Total Day and Total Night

Responsibilities

Provide personal hygiene, oral care, skin care, toileting, bathing, feeding, dressing and grooming

Maintain confidentiality concerning residents, staff and organizational information

Work within the NSAHO Scope of Practice

Provide companionship and emotional support to residents

Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to facility infection control policies

Qualifications

Clear Criminal Record check and vulnerable sectors check from within the last 6 months

Current Standard First-Aid and CPR certification

Successful completion or enrollment in a CCA/PSW program

Registered with the CCA Registry

Effective communication, both written and verbal in English

Physically fit/able to perform physically demanding job duties

Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record
