Job description

Your future role at a glance

Location: Indianapolis, IN 

Facility: Hybrid- 80% Travel within  Indiana Market 

Department/Specialty: Sterile Processing 

Schedule: Full Time, Monday- Friday, Days 

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Assess & Action: Conduct comprehensive HLD workflow, equipment, and compliance assessments across all 16 sites to identify high-risk gaps and create targeted action plans.

  • Standardize & Implement: Lead the Indiana-wide rollout of standardized HLD operational processes, workflows, tools, and equipment in coordination with key leadership and vendors.

  • Audit & Align: Maintain continuous compliance by conducting routine and targeted audits, validating corrective action plans, and escalating market-level risks to leadership.

  • Train & Educate: Oversee scope- and equipment-specific training, establish standardized competency validations, and develop targeted educational resources to address identified gaps.

  • Advise & Optimize: Serve as the regional HLD subject-matter expert to drive operational excellence, cost optimization, performance tracking, and immediate risk escalation.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • One or more of the following required: 
    • Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
  • Healthcare Leadership preferred. 
  • Instrument Specialist credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association preferred. 

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience. OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Health-care Leadership.
  • Instrument Specialist credentialed from the Health-care Sterile Processing Association.
  • Bachelors degree highly desired.
  • CER (Certified Endoscope Reprocessor)
