This role is entirely remote, utilizing advanced telehealth technologies to deliver mental health counseling to clients across the region. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments and psychosocial evaluations to determine clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate effectively with clients to create individualized treatment strategies that address their specific needs, goals, and cultural backgrounds.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), applied across diverse modalities such as individual, couple, family, and group sessions.
• Provide crisis intervention services for clients in immediate distress, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to ensure a continuity of support.
• Develop and maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including detailed progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries that comply with clinic policies and legal regulations.
• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions to empower clients and their families with knowledge and experiences to better manage their mental health conditions.
• Regularly conduct outcome assessments to gauge the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and make informed adjustments to treatment plans.
• Stay current with emerging trends in mental health, incorporating new research and best practices into your clinical methodologies.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethical practice, maintaining confidentiality and respect for all client information.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of New York.
• Proven ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of meaningful relationships with clients and team members.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling.
• Background in working with trauma-informed care and diverse populations is highly desirable.
• Experience with teletherapy and using digital platforms for service delivery.
