Engineering Tech Position

The Job Center is hiring for an Engineering Tech for temp-to-hire job openings on the 2nd shift 3 pm-11:45 pm M-F in the Haslet area. Great environment and great company to work for! Compensation of Engineering Tech:

  • $19.80 per hour
  • 3 pm-11:45 pm M-F
  • Unlimited Referral Bonus for anyone NEW who comes to apply and work 200 hours.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Tech:

  • Work with our corporate team to install and maintain CATV head-end equipment.
  • Work with our corporate engineering and Operations management team to prepare Test Procedures for STB repair and clean and screen processes.
  • Work with CTDI STB repair branches to implement and support the tools and processes to optimize set top box testing and repair processes.

Requirements of Assistant Tech:

  • 0-2 years' experience in Test Engineering and Production Shop floor experience
  • Clear discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems.
  • Understanding of analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits.
  • Understanding of audio, video and CATV RF formats and circuits.
  • Familiarity with Cable TV (CATV) and Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) technology.
