If you are looking for a new challenge in a workplace with a varied caseload, then this could be the role for you.

A high quality relaxed environment 3 vet ( 4th is on maternity leave) practice in Dade City, Florida is searching for a veterinarian to join their team.

We currently have four veterinarians and have plenty of work with a good client base of very nice clients. The culture and energy of the practice is one of the best around, we have four vets and two office staff who are fun and care about each other.

The caseload is 80% equine. The successful applicant will see a wide and diverse mix of horses and clients.The workload is spread between performance horses including, eventers, saddlebreds, dressage, western, etc. The remaining work is a large amount of backyard horses, small goat and backyard cattle(every client seems to have a mini highland cow that they have bought in the last year). Dentistry and reproduction can make up a significant portion of your work if interested. Practice has a central office, but most work is ambulatory. Well supplied practice, including multiple GE and exago ultrasounds, multiple Fuji andSound wireless DR, Shockwave, 1m and 3m video scope, HDE and other motorized dental floats. Excellent practice manager/ secretary who will make your life easier. Freedom to schedule yourself, and build your clientele. Emergency weekends are split three ways.

Continuing education and specific interests are encouraged and financially supported.

The practice is located between Tampa, Orlando and Ocala. There are numerous recreation options around. There is a lively horse show scene, the gulf is 30 minutes away, Tampa is close for concerts and nights out. Orlando and Disney are only about an hour away, Skydive City a world renowned drop zone is in our practice area.
