Job description

Description:

The Cato Institute seeks an organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Manager of Print Services to join the Cato Press and Publications team. The candidate will be responsible for Cato Print Center operations (Mondayโ€“Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), as well as managing reporting and other fulfillment requests. Prior experience with digital press programs and systems is required.

This is a full-time and in-person position in Washington, DC, headquarters.

The projected salary range for this role is $60,000โ€“$75,000 per year. Compensation is based on the successful candidateโ€™s educational background, experience, and skills.

About Cato

The Cato Institute is a public policy research organizationโ€”a think tankโ€”dedicated to the principles of individual liberty, limited government, free markets, and peace. Its scholars and analysts conduct independent, nonpartisan research on a wide range of policy issues.

Founded in 1977, Cato owes its name to Catoโ€™s Letters, a series of essays published in 18th-century England that presented a vision of a society free from excessive government power. Those essays inspired the architects of the American Revolution. And the simple, timeless principles of that revolutionโ€”individual liberty, limited government, and free marketsโ€”are even more powerful in todayโ€™s world of global markets and unprecedented access to information than Jefferson or Madison could have imagined. Social and economic freedom is not just the best policy for a free people; it is the indispensable framework for the future.

Cato Institute is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

  • Anticipate reprint needs based on inventory levels and usage trends, placing orders in a timely manner to ensure continuous stock availability.
  • Stay current on recent books and publication releases and stock availability (onsite and offsite).
