JOB DESCRIPTION:
St. Timothy Catholic School is a TK-8 Roman Catholic elementary school located in San Mateo, CA. Inspired by Gospel values, we serve the children of our parish and neighboring communities, working in partnership with our school families to create a positive and safe learning environment where students develop their skills as loving Christians, innovative learners, giving citizens, humble individuals, and thoughtful communicators.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a 4-year undergraduate degree, advanced degree desired
Valid California multiple-subject credential preferred
Experience and passion for teaching elementary school-age students
Desire to embrace the Catholic ethos of the school and promote the Catholic spiritual development of students
Strong unit, lesson, and assessment planning abilities aligned with elementary core content standards.
Knowledge of differentiated instruction and working with students with diverse learning needs
Ability to innovatively integrate technology into instruction daily
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Sense of humor and willingness to be flexible and supportive of the overall school program
