Job description

Austin Preparatory School, located in Reading, Massachusetts—approximately 15 miles north of Boston—is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Technology Specialist. Founded in 1961, Austin Prep is an independent, co-educational Catholic day school in the Augustinian tradition, serving more than 800 students in grades 6–12.

Austin Preparatory School seeks a collaborative, service-oriented Technology Specialist to support the implementation, operation, and management of technology hardware and software across campus. Reporting to the Director of Technology, this position provides proactive, hands-on support to students, faculty, and administrators to ensure that secure, innovative, and reliable technology resources are available to the Austin Prep community. The Technology Specialist plays an important role in maintaining daily technology operations while assisting with the planning and implementation of school-wide technology initiatives.

Qualifications 

  • Educational background and/or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service, preferably within an educational environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic school setting.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
