Job description

Overview

Are you a talented fundraiser ready to make your work matter on a whole new level?

Dynamic Catholic is looking for a results-driven Development Officer with a track record of excellence. Someone who loves the hands-on work of fundraising: building relationships with donors, guiding them through their giving journey, and utilizing top-tier resources to inspire generosity. We want someone who is fueled by our Mission and will give their best to that Mission every day.

If this sounds like you, then you might want to consider bringing your talents to Dynamic Catholic. But first, let’s talk about why this role might just be the best move you make. At Dynamic Catholic you will find an intersection of:

1) One of the most innovative and impactful Missions in America
2) Some of the finest, most engaged donors in the Catholic world
3.) Best-in-class systems, tools, and processes to help you thrive
4.) A tight-knit team of individuals with an entrepreneurial drive to succeed

Together, these qualities combine to create a uniquely fulfilling environment for fundraising. The kind of environment where you can push your career forward. The kind of role where your talents move the needle.

At the end of the day, this role requires hard work and a willingness to be responsible for your own success. Our Mission is urgent, and we are not satisfied with mediocrity for ourselves or for the Church. We believe the Church deserves our very best, and we’re not here to settle for average.

If you want your talents to play a crucial role in the rejuvenation of Catholicism in America, apply today!

Who we are
At Dynamic Catholic our Mission is simple: to re-energize the Catholic Church in America. Catholics are leaving the Church at an alarming rate, and disengagement among those who remain is staggeringly high. This is where you come in. We are looking for driven, talented, and dynamic individuals who will work tirelessly to use their talents to inspire people to rediscover the genius of Catholicism.
We Have
  • Meaningful and challenging work in a fast-paced, exciting environment.
  • One of the most impactful, innovative, and inspiring Missions in America.
  • A tremendous group of passionate, committed donors who can’t wait to meet and talk with you.
  • A tight knit, fun, and high performing team driven to achieve top results.
  • Best in class systems and support to assist you in your work.
  • High expectations and ambitious objectives, coupled with highly competitive compensation, benefits, and flexibility.
  • Onsite chapel and workout facility.
You have
  • A reputation for results. You have a results-driven mindset and consistently meet or exceed goals.
  • Demonstrated excellence in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Relentless pursuit of integrity and authenticity. You strive to embody the organization’s values and mission in every interaction.
  • A strong sense of priorities and purpose. You operate with a sense of urgency. You are bold in the service of a mission, with the perseverance and passion to achieve goals. You are professional, persistent, and resilient.
  • Servant-hearted tenacity. You approach every opportunity with a “no task is too small” mindset. You are resourceful and a self-starter. You see challenges as opportunities, not obstacles.
  • Humility, flexibility, and an eagerness to learn. Willingness to adapt what you know and what has made you successful, in ways that intersect with the Mission and donors of Dynamic Catholic.
  • Excellent critical thinking, listening and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Genuine love and excitement for raising money in support of a Mission you’re passionate about.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
You might also have
  • Experience developing new business, including inside sales.
  • A track record of raising five and six figure gifts while maintaining donor relationship across a large portfolio.
  • Success in a variety of fundraising, sales, or business development environments that prepares you for success in fundraising.
  • Intellectual curiosity to innovate and experiment with creative solutions.
