Job Type: Part-Time/Contract Position
Position Overview:
Ladgov Corporation is seeking a qualified Catholic Priest to provide spiritual leadership and sacramental ministry for a Catholic faith community in a chapel setting. The selected candidate will serve as the primary religious leader for the congregation, providing worship services, pastoral care, religious instruction, and support for faith-based programs serving individuals and families within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Celebrate Catholic Masses, Holy Day services, and other liturgical celebrations.
  • Administer the Sacraments, including Reconciliation, Baptism, Matrimony, Anointing of the Sick, and Funeral Rites.
  • Provide pastoral counseling, spiritual guidance, and ministry support to members of the Catholic community.
  • Deliver homilies, reflections, and religious instruction consistent with Catholic teachings.
  • Coordinate and oversee Catholic ministry programs, events, and seasonal observances.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Religious Education Director and Music Director.
  • Participate in planning meetings, ministry coordination activities, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Support volunteer development and encourage active participation within the faith community.
  • Maintain accurate ministry records, reports, and program documentation.
  • Foster a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment that supports spiritual growth and faith development.
Qualifications:
  • Ordained Roman Catholic Priest in good standing with the Catholic Church.
  • Ability to perform Catholic sacramental ministry and worship services.
  • Experience providing pastoral care, counseling, and religious leadership.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and age groups.
  • Ability to manage ministry activities and collaborate with volunteers and program staff.
  • Must successfully complete all required onboarding and screening requirements.
