WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
  • Collaborate on patient medical issues with the physician to determine protocol and procedure.
  • Complete all MIR exams and procedures, obtaining optimal images for physician review according to policy and protocol.
  • Obtain and record patient identification, medical history, or test results.
  • Obtain and review all history of ferrous implants and other possible contraindication for scanning in a magnetic field.
  • Perform venous punctures using universal precautions while administering contrast media.
  • Practice established safety guidelines and use mire safety tools and techniques.
  • Assume responsibility for self-development.
  • Clean, maintain, and restock examination and inventory rooms.

Qualifications
  • Preferred Associate's Degree
  • Preferred Certificate
  • 1 year MRI Experience Preferred
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) - . ARRT, ARRT-MR, or ARMIT
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
