Catholic Interns often have the opportunity to support a variety of projects, such as assisting with parish outreach, organizing faith-based events, supporting youth ministry programs, or helping with administrative tasks. Interns may collaborate closely with clergy, lay staff, and volunteers, gaining hands-on experience in ministry operations and community engagement. The work environment is typically supportive and mission-driven, with regular opportunities for spiritual and professional growth. Interns can expect to develop skills in communication, organization, and leadership while contributing to the faith community.

Job description

Regina Caeli Academy - Marketing Department • Remote • 10-20 hours/week • Unpaid volunteer internship / position
The Opportunity
Regina Caeli Academy is a nationally accredited PreK-12 classical Catholic hybrid homeschool network, founded in 2003 and now serving 2,100+ students and 1,000+ families across 24 centers nationwide. Our mission is to form students in intellect and will through the Catholic intellectual tradition - training the mind to form the soul.
This is an unpaid volunteer internship / position offering meaningful, practical experience in a professional setting within a thriving Catholic apostolate. The individual will gain hands-on exposure to admissions operations, family outreach, donor appeals, and various mission-aligned communications - through their crafting of short, compelling videos. You will help introduce prospective families to RCA, showcase our mission to the public and inspire benefactors to support our growing apostolate.
The position requires approximately 10-20 hours per week, is fully remote, and is structured to be carried out independently, with regular check-ins and direction from Regina Caeli Academy's Vice President of External Relations, Mr. Ed Trifone. It is designed to give the individual the latitude to bring their own voice, insight, and experience to the role, taking meaningful ownership of projects that advance RCA's outreach.
Primary Responsibility
Produce polished, one-to-three-minute marketing videos that advance three aims:
  • Promoting RCA as a whole - capturing our mission, classical curriculum, and the distinctive hybrid model in a way that resonates with prospective families and the wider Catholic community.
  • Driving enrollment - telling the story of life at an RCA center: the formation, the community of faith, and the academic excellence that draw families to us.
  • Encouraging gift giving - crafting appeals that move donors and benefactors to invest in RCA's students, centers, and future.

What You'll Do
  • Develop concepts, scripts, and storyboards in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Shoot, edit, and finish short videos suitable for our website, social media channels, email campaigns, prospective family open houses and donor presentations.
  • Incorporate provided footage, photography, testimonials, and brand assets; source music and supplemental media as needed.
  • Deliver final cuts in formats optimized for web and social distribution, on agreed timelines.

Ideal Candidate
This position is well suited for a current college student who desires an internship, a recent graduate, a homeschool parent, a retiree, or a young professional discerning a career in Catholic video production, marketing or communications.
Ideal Qualifications
  • In depth understanding of Regina Caeli Academy, a strong alignment with the teachings of the Catholic Church and a genuine enthusiasm for classical education and the mission of Regina Caeli Academy.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft warm, clear, and mission-centered videos.
  • Self-direction and disciplined time management - comfortable working independently in a remote setting and accountable to weekly deliverables.
  • Organizational precision and attention to detail, particularly in managing footage, deadlines, and follow-up.
  • Demonstrated capability utilizing video editing software
  • Must be familiar with Google Workspace, email, and other online collaboration tools necessary for working on projects with a team remotely.
  • Creative thinker who is solution-oriented; willing to make recommendations or present ideas.
  • Possession of or access to the appropriate tools necessary to perform duties: computer, software/applications, internet access, etc.
  • Prior experience with Catholic schools, homeschooling communities, campus ministry, or parish life is an asset but not required.

If you are drawn to the mission of classical Catholic education and eager to contribute your time and talents to an apostolate shaping the next generation of faithful leaders, we would be honored to hear from you. To apply, please submit a brief letter of interest, portfolio and résumé to:
