Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience and RCIS certification for a 13-week contract at a Level I Trauma acute care hospital in a high-volume cardiac cath lab setting.

Details
  • Acute care hospital setting with 11 cath lab procedure rooms at a 719-bed Level I Trauma center
  • Cardiac Cath Lab unit handling EP, IR, and cath lab cases
  • High-volume unit with 40โ€“50 cases per day
  • 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
  • Call requirement of 4โ€“5 shifts per month, including 1 weekend per month
  • EMR: Epic
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience
  • Active BLS certification required
  • Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification via CCI required; pending certifications will not be accepted
  • CVT experience and familiarity with relevant cath lab equipment required
  • Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable; pending licenses will not be accepted
  • Driver's license required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
  • Performs procedures across EP, IR, and cardiac cath lab cases in a high-volume environment
  • Daily parking is available on and off campus, with costs ranging from $15/day or $95โ€“$120/month with a monthly pass
  • Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
