Job description

Travel CVOR Tech in Waco, TX

This travel CVOR Tech job in Waco, TX with Advantis Medical is a 13-week travel CVOR Tech contract at Ascension Providence. This role pays $1,955 per week and follows a Days shift with a 3x12 schedule. In this travel CVOR Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

Ascension Providence opened as Waco's first hospital in 1905, and heart care is still its calling card across Central Texas, with strong surgical, stroke, and women's programs alongside.

Multiple cardiac cath labs carry the structural heart workload of TAVR, WATCHMAN, MitraClip, and AFib ablation, which makes for a full stretch if you're a cath-lab or cardiovascular tech. Surgeons here operate with both robotic and image-guided systems across orthopedics, gynecology, urology, thoracic, and general surgery, with open-heart and cardiac surgery on the schedule.

On the diagnostic side, the cardiac imaging is unusually deep for a hospital this size, including cardiac MRI and HeartFlow CT angiography on top of standard MRI and nuclear medicine. Stroke patients are covered by both a Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center and a Texas-designated Level II Stroke Center, so CT and MRI see regular emergent use. The Women's and Newborn Center handles maternity and on-site neonatal care, and the hospital charts on Epic.

Advantis Medical supports travel clinicians with personalized recruiter guidance, fast and straightforward onboarding, complimentary licensing support, and benefits that start on Day 1.
