What is a cath lab tech travel?

A Cath Lab Tech Travel job is a temporary assignment where a cardiac catheterization laboratory technician works at different healthcare facilities, usually for 8- to 13-week contracts. These techs assist with heart procedures like angioplasties and stent placements. While this provides valuable experience and career flexibility, it also requires a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and continuous learning. Many travelers enjoy the opportunity to work in different environments and expand their clinical skills, but those considering this path should be comfortable with frequent change and occasional short onboarding periods.
