Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager of Cardiovascular Lab Services is responsible for planning, directing and administration of the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Lab (Special Procedures), Electrophysiology, Pre/Post Holding Unit and staff to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis ance and the accomplishment of department responsibilities and goals in accord with corporate, hospital, department, and safe policies and procedures to meet both company and regulatory requirements. Responsible for providing high-quality patient care to and acting as liaison with patients and their representatives, for promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, for promoting internal and external customer satisfaction and for appropriate resource management, and for the efficient operation of the department and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs. Furthermore, the manager will assist the administrator in QA and PI project. The Manager will have the responsibility for the education, competencies, quality service for all nursing and technology functions within the cardiology service program. The Manager will be responsible for the staff performance and the accomplishment of department responsibilities and goals in accord with corporate, hospital, department, and safe policies and procedures to meet both company and regulatory requirements. What qualifications you will need:
  • Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) 
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited School of Nursing 
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date 
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date 
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical Cath Lab nursing experience in an acute care setting 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a full time Charge Nurse/ Coordinator, Nursing Administrative Supervisor, or Nursing Management
