Working Hours: 0630-1700
Summary:
The IVR and/or Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, organizing, and administering care within the scope of their training and expertise. This role involves collaborating with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes, in conjunction with the objectives and policies of the hospital and the Nurse Practice Act of the state of Arkansas.
The IVR and/or Cath Lab RN assists physicians and other healthcare professionals during Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology (IVR) procedures. They work outside the procedure room's sterile field by ensuring a clean and sterile environment, administering medications, implementing and maintaining counts, prepping for procedures, documenting procedures, monitoring the patient, staff, instruments, and equipment, and delivering specimens.
Other information:
Minimum Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Must have 18 months of Cath Lab or IVR experience.

This job will be authorized 0.08 hours bi-weekly.
