Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/IR position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and one prior travel assignment.

Details
  • Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology (IR) unit within a hospital setting
  • 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM โ€“ 5:30 PM
  • On-call required one weekend every 4โ€“6 weeks; weekday call required every other week
  • No additional weekend shift requirements beyond call
  • Floating may be required to Cath Lab holding area
  • Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
Requirements
  • Active DC RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, procedural areas, ICU, or ER
  • Moderate sedation administration experience required
  • IV insertion experience required
  • At least 1 prior travel assignment required
  • 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Perform Cath Lab and IR nursing care including moderate sedation administration and IV access
  • No holiday time-off requests will be accommodated
  • Flu vaccine required
  • All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
