Catering Sales| Plate Perfect Catering

Plate Perfect Catering, part of FS Food Group, is looking for a motivated, relationship driven Inside Sales Representative to help grow our corporate catering business throughout the Charlotte market.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing corporate clients.

* Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, networking, and lead follow-up to generate new catering opportunities.

* Respond promptly to inbound catering inquiries and convert leads into booked events.

* Consult with clients to understand their catering needs and recommend customized menu options and service solutions.

* Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and menu packages that align with client budgets and event objectives.

* Utilize CaterEase and other CRM tools to manage leads, proposals, bookings, and client communications.

* Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity.

* Coordinate closely with culinary and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of every catering order.

* Provide outstanding customer service before, during, and after each event to encourage repeat business and referrals.

* Identify opportunities to increase order value through menu enhancements and additional services.

* Occasionally attend client meetings, tastings, networking events, and catered functions to strengthen relationships and develop new business.

* Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and contribute to the continued growth of Plate Perfect Catering.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Sales, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.

* Previous experience in inside sales, catering sales, hospitality, event planning, or customer relationship management.

* Corporate catering or B2B sales experience is strongly preferred.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

* Excellent phone skills required.

* Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

* Self-motivated with the ability to manage time independently and prioritize multiple projects.

* Passion for hospitality, food, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

* Familiarity with the Charlotte business community is a plus.

* Experience with CaterEase or similar catering software is preferred.
