Overview

Salary Range $18.00 Hourly Position Type Full-Time/Part-Time Job Shift Day Education Level None Travel Percentage None Category Transportation

Description

Operates a specially equipped minibus, van or similar vehicle to transport customers, including those with physical or mental disabilities to and from scheduled appointments by following a prescribed route and schedule.

Performs safety inspections on vehicles before operating to detect and report any mechanical malfunctions or safety issues that would prevent the safe transportation of passengers.

Maneuvers wheelchairs, operates wheel chair lifts, and secures wheelchairs.

Operates two-way radios and maintains communications to ensure efficient daily operations.

Records daily information on passengers, trips, mileage, pick-up and drop off paper manifest.

Must wear company uniform daily, no exceptions.

Must clock in/ out daily.

Must be responsible for taking required lunch break.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Must be 21 years or older

Must have valid Driver License

Minimum driving record of three years

No felonies/no misdemeanors

Must speak and read English

You are required to pass:

Drug/Alcohol testing

DOT Physical required

Paid trainings

Upgrade license conversions after 90 days
