Arctic Cat is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Machinist to join our team at our Thief River Falls, Minnesota facility. In this hands-on role, you will support the development, fabrication, and maintenance of tooling, prototypes, and production parts while ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision. If you are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and enjoy both independent and collaborative work, we encourage you to apply. 


Responsibilities:


  • Set up machining jobs, lay out parts, and inspect finished work using standard machine shop and quality inspection tools.
  • Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, gauge blocks, gauge pins, and angle plates.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Machining and building tooling, prototypes, and production parts that meet design requirements.
  • Inspection of finished parts and verifying dimensions to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Identify and solve machining issues while supporting engineering and manufacturing teams with tooling and prototype projects.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in Machining, CNC Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • 1+ year's experience operating CNC equipment for cutting, milling, and drilling operations.
  • Understanding of core shop capabilities including mathematics, trigonometry, welding, tooling, assembly of tooling, sheet metal
