Job description

Ziegler Cat has an opening for a full-time Inside Parts Sales Person to serve our customers. We are looking for a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills to help support our growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Provides superior customer service face-to-face or over the telephone to customers
  • Helps customers determine correct parts needed, verify availability, and make recommendations
  • Determines the correct parts and their availability, and completes parts orders
  • Determines the supplying facility and mode of transportation for parts shipment
  • Enters proper shipping information into the parts ordering system to process the order and generate an invoice
  • Processes backorders, returns, and exchanges
  • Assists their team with group and team sales, providing a link and collaboration between different departments during the sales process
  • Communicates with customers for sales, follow-ups, and addressing potential issues
  • Works in a cooperative manner with team and superiors
  • Prepares quotes for service work, as well as engines, machines, and parts
  • Assists customers with basic issues or concerns by taking action, providing alternatives, or escalating the issue to the more experienced team member
  • Maintains a safe and productive workplace, keeping in mind the specific environmental standards of the department

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred
  • 2+ years in diesel engine, construction or agriculture equipment, or automotive parts or service
  • Up to 4 years of experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
  • Basic computer skills (navigation, searching) and Microsoft Outlook (email)
  • Basic telephone experience
  • Basic customer service skills
  • Personal characteristics: Customer Focus, Teamwork, Learning Orientation, Efficiency, Sociability

The pay range for this position is
$20.96 to $25.12
Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant's location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
