CAT Scan Technologist

Could you be our CAT Scan Technologist at Paoli Hospital?

Position: CAT Scan Technologist

Location: Paoli Hospital – Main Line Health

Compensation: $39.53 - $60.49/hr. (Before Shift Differentials - $3/Eves, $5/Nights)

Shift Schedule - Rotating:

  • Week One: Friday 7:00 AM -7:30 PM, Saturday 11:00 PM -7:00 AM
  • Week Two: Sunday 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Tuesday 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM
  • Holiday & On-Call Requirements
  • 20 Hours Per Week - Benefits Eligible

Position Summary

The CAT Scan Technologist performs a variety of CT procedures while exercising professional judgment to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role requires maintaining standards consistent with medical ethics and organizational values, delivering safe and appropriate care to all patient populations, and working independently in the provision of services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Verify patient clinical history and ensure accuracy of imaging orders
  • Prepare and educate patients for procedures to ensure safety and comfort
  • Provide patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and compassion
  • Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum one (1) year of recent CT experience preferred

Education:

  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology required.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • ARRT (CT) certification preferred
  • IV certification preferred (or must obtain by end of onboarding/training)
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
