Are you a skilled operator who takes pride in driving heavy iron and keeping civil jobsites moving? We are hiring a dependable, safety-focused Haul Truck Driver for a direct placement role in Front Royal, VA.

You will primarily pilot CAT 730 and 740 haul trucks on active underground utility projects, with opportunities to operate secondary support machinery like skid steers and small wheel loaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Haul Truck Operations: Safely operate CAT 730 and 740 articulated haul trucks to haul soil, aggregate, backfill, and rock across underground utility construction sites.
  • Versatile Equipment Support: Occasionally operate support equipment such as skid steers and small wheel loaders for site staging, backfilling, and material movement.
  • Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip equipment safety checks (fluids, hydraulics, tires, lights) to ensure machine reliability.
  • Daily Logging: Accurately complete daily logs, maintenance sheets, and material load tallies.
  • Jobsite Collaboration: Coordinate closely with site superintendents, excavator operators, and pipe crews for efficient site flow and safety.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience preferred operating articulated haul trucks (CAT 730/740 or similar civil earthmoving equipment).
