Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an Associate Materials Handler to support our growing business by managing inbound receipts, stockroom activities (including kitting and receiving), and outbound shipping (including packaging and handling). As the first touchpoint for inbound materials and the final touchpoint before customer delivery, this role is critical to ensure the smooth flow of materials through our operations. We are looking for a responsible, adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make an impact.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cycle Counting – Perform accurate and timely cycle counts of inventory to ensure stock levels are correctly maintained. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in collaboration with the inventory control team. Maintain detailed records of inventory adjustments and support periodic audits.

  • Shipping & Receiving – Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy and quality. Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with company standards and shipping regulations. Update inventory systems to reflect incoming and outgoing materials and assist with organizing stockroom locations.

  • Material Kitting and Handling – Assemble and prepare material kits for production or assembly teams based on work orders and production schedules. Safely handle, store, and transport materials to designated areas while adhering to workplace safety protocols. Ensure materials are properly labeled, organized, and tracked to facilitate efficient workflow and minimize production delays.

Required Qualifications:

  • Typically requires High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Typically requires a minimum of 0–1 years of relevant work experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating problem-solving skills and critical thinking.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience as a stockroom employee or in a similar materials handling role.

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.

  • Capability to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 lbs.

  • Frequent physical activity, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and gripping/pinching.
