Violin Teacher Wanted — Inspire Young Musicians in Castro Valley...and beyond.
Castro Valley School of Music is seeking an enthusiastic Violin Instructor to join our growing team of professional and passionate teachers. We believe music lessons should be fun, inspiring, and tailored to each student’s goals — from Suzuki beginners to budding symphony players. 
What You’ll Do:

  • Teach private and/or group violin lessons to students of all ages (mostly kids and teens).
  • Customize your teaching approach to each student’s level and learning style.
  • Foster a supportive, motivating, and creative environment.
  • (Optional) Participate in recitals, workshops, and community events.
We’re Looking For:

  • Strong performance and teaching background (music degree or equivalent experience).
  • Friendly, dependable, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to connect with both kids and parents.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Castro Valley (after-school weekdays and Saturday availability preferred).
  • At least one year experience teaching private lessons on violin
